BIOS update causing problems.
Judging from the posts over the last few days it appears many of us are experiencing problems after allowing the Dell installer to update our BIOS. Since I did so yesterday I cannot get my XPS 13 9350 to boot-up. I just get a statement on screen 'no bootable system detected'. How do I fix it?

xps13 9350 no bootable device found after BIOS update 1.4.12
Followed suggestion given by @ejn63 on following thread en.community.dell.com/.../20977131 and tried the BIOS recovery feature.
Followed instructions given on DELL support page for service tag.
Updated BIOS to version 1.4.13 as per instructions. All seemed to run nice and smooth but after automatic reboots, fell back onto screen DELL SupportAssist \ No bootable devices found... ***... It now does say that system BIOS is 1.4.13 but still stuck.

Right after the BIOS update, Windows Boot Manager was missing in the Boot sequence in my case, but I managed to get it back using MBR repair commands in the Command Prompt window of the Automatic Repair menu (running Win10 install USB stick).
After solving "no bootable hardware found" issue on my XPS13 9350, the settings in the BIOS looks like this now:
Boot sequence: Windows Boot Manager
UEFI:PM951 NVMe Samsung 256GB. Partition 1
Boot List Option: UEFI
Advanced Boot Options: all unchecked
System Configuration/SATA operation: RAID On
Drives: SATA-2 and M.2 PCIe SSD-0 checked
Secure Boot: enabled

To cut down on the confusion, a system with an M.2 PCIe SSD may be using AHCI or RAID. This depends on how the drive is configured and not the type of drive.
Whatever you have, don't change it or you might lose your boot.
Mine shows as SATA: AHCI

@Community,
I pulled out our 9550 here and attempted to replicate the issue. See below:
XPS 15 9550 i7-6700HQ
Samsung PM951 1TB NVME OEM drive
Windows 10 1607
Boot mode: UEFI mode
SATA Operation: RAID ON
Storage driver: 14.5.2.1008
-I updated the BIOS from 1.2.18 to 1.2.19
-The system rebooted back into Windows after the update
-I shut down and turned it back on and it started fine
I haven't tested the BIOS update on an XPS 13 9350 just yet but at this point, I'm not too confidant I'll be able to replicate the issue.
I'm now asking the community to help me out with a capture for Dell engineering. If anyone on this thread so far is willing to work with me on helping Dell get a capture, please send me a friend request with your service tag and email address.

I am having this issue on my XPS 9550 since I updated my BIOS to 1.2.19, yesterday.
I get an ePSA: Build 4304.07 UEFI ROM
No bootable device found
error.
Is there any final solution to this?
THANKS in advance,
Saltgrass

You saw the request to contact Justin in the prior post? Click on his name and send a Friend request. When accepted you can private message.
For now though, could you tell us what Drive you have in your system and what SATA setting you have currently selected in the Bios?

FYI I sent my 9350 off for diagnosis and repair. They replaced the hard drive and it is on the way back. It's been 3 weeks since Dell updated BIOS and system crashed.
