BIOS Upgrade Problem

Question

Is anyone having a problem upgrading the BIOS on their Inspiron 7500. I followed the Instructions. Thy system boots up from the floppy It begins to Load BIOS ROM image file (31I5A14A.ROM). When it is completed it give me an error PhoenixPhlash Error File does not contain different versions of BIOS ROM image. Press any key to Reboot. I also noticed at the top it say PhoenixPhlash Utility 4.0 Release 1.57. The BIOS on my system is 4.0 Release 6.0. The newest BIOS is suppose to be Release 14. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks.

BTW, I am runing Windows 2000 and the file name is a14_i75.exe Thanks.

Thanks Bill. I will try and download the A11 version and see if that helps. I was most curious in finding out if anyone else had a problem upgrading the BIOS on the Inspiron 7500 for Windows 2000.
