blinking cursor when in docking station
Brand new Latitude D400 running XP Pro SP1, fully patched. It has worked in the docking station before, but I was having problems getting it to recognize the CD/DVD drive. I just gave up on that and started plugging the CD drive into the laptop port instead of docking station port.
But today I can't get my laptop to boot up while docked. It only gives me a blinking cursor.
I did update to latest BIOS last week. I just deleted my docked profile and plopped it back in, but still blinking cursor.
Maybe need new docking firmware?

I was able to solve this by simply unplugging the docking station power from the base, and plugging back in.
Very strange though, because it did have power, as evident with blinking cursor.
