Blinking Red Light

Question

The battery light on my 600m will not stop blinking red even when turned off, even though my battery life is at 100%. I have tried turning of my computer and taking the battery out for a few seconds but the red light continues to blink. Even someone could help me I would be soooo greatful. Thanks.

If it's rapidly flashing amber or red, the battery needs replacement.
