Looks like reinstalling the driver from dells discs and taking a All in Wonder for Windows XP update from ATI technoligies did the trick. Thanks for the 3 views and no help like Dell AKA the peanut gallery. I'll think twice before I ask a question from all of you it's better to research the problem yourself, for just like Dell your all giving yada, yada, yada just like Dell and this is supposed to be a help forum.:-(
