Bluetooth 350

Question

I have seen many dell truemobile 350 adaptors on ebay saying they require the 10 pin connector.  Well I just recieved my E1505 and it has the 10pin connector already.  My question is that Dell says a diff part # for the E1505 and bluetooth adaptor.  The reason I ask is the price difference is huge.  Has anyone installed one?   I was actually shocked when I opened the bluetooth slot behind the battery and found the cable already there.  BTW The price Dell quoted me was like $59 and on Ebay they can be had for under $15.    Anyway thanks for the heads up.  I plan on tearing into my laptop to see if I can do a video upgrade and CPU upgrade.

Call Dell Spare Parts and ask if the $59 is for both the adapter and the cable. If it is then ask them for the price of just the adapter. When I bought my adapter from DSP it was $13.95 + $8 shipping.

I tried the DSP today and they said they only sell it as a set and its $59. Ill just get one off of ebay.

Just to clarify, I just bought a 350 bluetooth card for about $30 which is the general price on eBay.  There are many Dell 300 bluetooth cards for a little less.  Not sure of the difference between the 300 & 350, but make sure you order the correct one. Message Edited by kdogg123 on 04-03-2006 01:58 PM

How did you install the cable. I ordered the TM 350 Bluetooth not knowing I'd need the cable. What happens if you're computer doesn't have the cable. I bought the Dell TM Bluetooth (no cable), and when I opened up my machine there was no cable. I see several BT cables on the internet, but assuming I buy one and take delivery of it, I would have no idea how to install the cable. Any cable install ideas???   Thanks!
