bluetooth high quality audio (A2DP) stutter

When I connect my new bluetooth high quality headset to my laptop the audio on it stutters tremendously. Actually I have more silence than music. This of course is kind of annoying. My desktop doesn't have that problem.

Since the latest driver came with my system, and I installed the one from the website anyway I don't know any way to fix this.

Any ideas?

I noticed the same issue with my Motorola S9 headphones.  It seems a bit better when you use a usb mouse, versus a bt mouse.  I am not sure about your setup, but I get a little less silence and stuttering when I only connect one BT device.

Well I tested it in the middle of a field with no people around for miles, the wireless off and the headset as the only device attached to the bt. Still stutters.

i had the same problem with my motorola BT headset...

But i fixed it by deleting all other devices but the headset...

After that the stutter wanished...

The BT device on the xps lapptop have serious problem with connectin to more than one device at the time...!

and the stutter probably comes from when the puter tries to connect to more than one BT device at the same time...  u cant even have more than one device in the list of devices, becuase if u do the stutter will be there...

Hope this helps others..  it worked for me

It isn't the only issue with bluetooth on my m1330. If I connect my bluetooth mouse and go sit between it and my laptop (laptop is then less than 1.2m or 4ft away) my mouse doesn't track. The tranciever that came with the mouse ( mouse from a Logitech MX5000 laser set) is in the back of my desktop - which is relatively in the same position) only under my desk and it tracks perfectly.
