Bug inside screen
Hello,
I bought a Inspiron 7720 in Apr 2013, Full High Definition LED display from Belgium Dell dealer.
In 2 months time a bug entered my screen. The dealer refused to offer warranty for this issue, saying I was unlucky.
Instead of warranty they offered to change the screen and charge me around EUR 300, which I refused hoping that they will solve the problem till the end of the warranty period, but that didn't happen.
Two more bugs entered the screen, and now I have 3 dead bugs inside my screen.
In case you are planning to buy a Dell laptop make sure you take this issue into account.

Hi Adri24,
Thanks for your post on the Forum!
I apologize that there are insects in your LCD screen, but as your post indicates, the issue occurred after you received it. This would appear to be a customer caused issue, and therefore not a responsibilty by Dell or the dealer to service under warranty.
Regards,
Robert

Sorry, but is this not an issue with there being a big enough gap for a bug to GET INTO THE SCREEN not a customer issue for getting a bug inside. (!!!!)
