If you have Dell assist and the assist agent installed, go to programs and un-install both. This worked for me and it was simple to do. I hope this helps. Oh do not re-install the DELL ASSIST
Dell assist will re-install itself during updates make sure you turn off your Dell system detect and un-install all Dell assist. I can't believe they have not fixed this yet. I have 4 XPS from a Studio XPS to XPS15Z and everyone of them that installed system detect or assist started making the buzzing sound and or froze up during audio play. I hope this helps. I have taken all dell assist products off each machine and have not had a problem since.
