C600 Battery Charging Problem
Hi, I have a C600 that seems to have a problem charging batteries. The battery I have for my laptop, when dead, will seem to slowly or trickle charge itself to 100% all the time. Meaning, if I stuck my battery into the computer, turned it off, and waited, it would take over a week for the battery to charge to 100%. The battery will then show 5 green lights on it. When the battery is fully charged, it will take over 2 hours for it to discharge when using it, which seems normal so I don't think I need a new battery.
Some other things I have noticed is that when the battery is charging, the battery light next to the power and hd lights never lights up. Also, on the battery page in the BIOS, the indication always says Idle for the battery. I've tried the battery in both bays and it does the same thing.
So what do I need to do to fix this problem? I can't be waiting a week to charge the battery every time I use it. Any help would be appreciated.

I have both a docking station and another seperate power supply and my battery is 'dead' and the battery light comes on for about 30 seconds max when a power source is supplied... the computer works fine when connected to either power source, but not at all when trying to use from the battery... shows as charging always... sometimes when in the bios wiggling the battery it will show 100% charged but when locked in place, the battery shows 0% charge...
What's up? It had worked a while ago but the battery was going dead and going to go into sleep mode so I plugged the power in with the computer running so I could keep working... at that time I had both an external PS/2 mouse and a PC card wireless NIC installed... any ideas will help... $126.65 and shipping is a lot to pay for a battery..
