I have had the same problem with C600's
and the way that I have resolved the issue is
by disabling ( or physicaly pulling the wires from )
the pointing stick in the middle of the keyboard.
That is what I have dertermined to be the problem,
the pointing stick "sticks" causing the cursor to
drift.

i installed the latest driver, and then dell had the the touchpad and keyboard replaced. it is now working fine
