C610 Graphics upgrade

I'm seeing if a Dell C610 (currently with the ATI Mobility M6 graphics card) can be upgraded with an ATI 7500 Mobility. The 7500 is the same footprint and pinout and interface as the M6. I already have the extra 7500, i'm just seeing if it actually is possible. The only barrier I could see is that Dell's bios might not like the change in graphics cards.

I just try it with a 16MB 7500 and I got nothing on screen with that card installed in a C610. So NO it doesn't work.

C610 can be upgraded to nVidia GeForce2 GO 32MB (NV11) - I searched a little in driver INF-s.
