c840 + c/dock = no network

I've got a Latitude C840 that I connect to both a C/Dock and a C/Dock II.  When connected to the C/Dock I have no network connection.  I've installed the latest onboard 3C920 drivers.  From reading the forums it appears I may need to create a new hardware profile for the C/Dock and do a Quick Install.  However, none of the the Quick Install downloads appear to support Windows XP.  Can I use one of the others?  Can I just install the 3C905 drivers, which I assume are used by the C/Dock?

So, the C840 connects to the network when docked to the C/Dock II, or stand-alone with either a cable or the True Mobile wireless card.  It does not connect to the network when docked to the C/Dock.
