cannot open any website
laptop xps1330 connect to internet very good but cannot open any website. what should I do????

Welcome to the Forum :smileyhappy:
It helps if you provide as much information as possible about your system and network.
Is this a recent development, have you had internet on this laptop before? Are you at your usual location - home? Are there other computers in the same location that are able to open websites?
Assuming there's a viable internet connection I would do the following:
1) Restart your computer - always do this first when there's a problem
2) Check your connections. If you're using a wire - ensure it's plugged into the correct port (not the phone jack)
3) Make sure the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) properties sheet is set to "Obtain an IP address Automatically" and "Obtain DNS server automatically". (right-click on Local Area Connection, choose properties)
There's alot that could be going on here - need more info. If you're using wireless you may need a password.

wow, how did you open this one?
check the securtiy settings as well, maybe a glitch happened or something
