cant turn wave maxxaudio on

I have a inspiron 15 for about 2 weeks now and can not turn on wave maxx. the slider is in off position and when I click to turn on I get a message that it is disabled. how do I fix this. thankyou

Is it turned on in Dell Audio Manager (in the Control Panel)?

If that doesn't help, re-install your Realtek audio driver.

OMG it worked. I reinstalled driver. ty sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much!!!!!! now if I can only get these darn live tile to work I would very happy. nothing but problems with this since I got it. so any help on live tiles would be greatly appreciated. john

no it not....I cant get it to turn on. the microphone will not the audio

Hello John. Try posting on our Windows 8 board for help with the tiles.
