Often find clock has adjusted itself to about 30 mins back in time. Any ideas? Thanks.

check that you have the correct time zone set in windows.

while we're on the topic, does anyone know how to stop windows updating my BIOS clock?

every time I change a timezone, the next time I boot windows it fiddles with the RTC in the bios. then when I boot linux to get some work done, all my times and timezones are stuffed. It's a real pain, especially since then ntp tries to compensate for a 1 hour time difference...

cheers
