Welcome to the Dell Community.

We are sorry for the inconvinence caused. The system slowing down happens due to 2 reasons. It may be beacuse of the Harddrive failing or due to a software issue. First lets try running diagnostic tests on the system by holding down the Fn and starting the system. If the test passes request you to uninstall all the unused programmes from the programmes and features option in control panel. Also we can try clearing all the Temp files from the system

This should fix the issue
