Constant Freezing E6410

Question

I have a latitude E6410 and it constantly freezes and needs to be switched of manually and restarted. When not plugged in it happens about a minute or so after booting up. A rumbling/crackling sound comes from the speakers and then the screen freezes. It doesn't black out or anything it just freezes whatever is on the screen and becomes completely unresponsive. The same happens when plugged in but not as often, perhaps twice a day. As soon as the power is unplugged then it happens within a minute. I've reinstalled Windows, replaced the hard drive, but nothing helps. I've run the diagnostics and nothing shows up. I've tried using it without the battery, just plugged in to the mains and it still happens. Also the volume doesn't go as loud as it should but I think this is because the rumbling/crackling sound may have blown the speakers as when I have headphones or external speakers plugged in the sound is fine. Can anyone offer any advice?
