Cracked screen & broken hinge

Any computer shop can replace the screen - and the hinge (more likely, the back cover/hinge assembly). You're looking at $150+ in parts plus at least an hour's labor- which will push the cost to over half what a new system would cost, so carefully consider whether the repair makes sense on a system this old and of low-end design.
