I don't entirely trust the Dell DataSafe program. I would recomemnd supplementing your backup using Acronis True Image WD edition (if you have a WD internal/external hard drive) or alternatively using the 30 day trial of Acronis True Image 2013.

To do this follow the instructions on page 355 of Windows Reinstallation Guide and Related Wikies.
Follow Creating a Backup and Creating Bootable Media.
