ctrl+F11 system restore with ..disk read error

Question

I have an inspiron E1505 laptop.  I decided to take the operating system back to the original format by using the ctrl + F11 feature.  Once it was finished it rebooted to the screen 'disk read error..ctrl+alt+delete'  When this is done it just goes back to the same screen over and over again. If I try to complete the control f11 again it says it was unsuccessful. When I ran the system diagnostic test and there is no any error. I do not have any boot disk. Any help would be gratly appreciated.   THANKS!

Most likely the hard drive is failing.  Power on, press F12, load the Dell dignostics and run the extended -- not just the quick - drive test.
