D510 Screen Resolutions
For those of you with a D510 with the 15" display: does it support both 1024x768 and 800x600 screen resolutions? If it does support 800x600 does it make use of the full panel or does it place a border around the outer edge of it? TIA.

With the border, you are just using the center 800x600 (or 480,000 of your 786,432 pixels).
You can stretch it to fill the screen (can set to default to as well) but since you can't
use just 1.64 of two pixels, it will need to sometimes use one and sometimes two and this
makes the display appear 'blocky' or pixelated.
The method of setting "Full Screen" on lower resolutions may vary from different models,
often pressing F7 (marked "Font" in blue) while holding Fn key will do it. Others will
have an option to select in BIOS Setup (tap F2 on first Boot Screen) and/or a setting
from Display Properties; Settings, Advanced, Video Card tab etc..

edit:- by "will/should" I meant that without the proper Video Driver, the Windows Driver
that it would then need to use, may ONLY support 680x420 or somthing like that. Usually
running in "Safe Mode" will show you the Video you get with Windows Driver.
