D600 keyboard issue

Hi all.

Im currently working on a Latitude D600 that has a screwy keyboard problem. DFJKL dont seem to be working, I've plugged in a USB keyboard but still the same problem. I've also been into the bios and tried to enter a password just to see if it works there...still nothing.

Any suggestions, its driving me crackers!

Whilst trying to do a format/clean install of XP.....at the point of entering the product key when I hit one of the dodgy keys it shoots the cursor across the screen, which I then repeated with the other faulty keys. So there is power to the keys. Crikey!
