Hello patcher,

Welcome to the Dell Community Forum,

The max supported resolution for the Latitude D600 will depend on the LCD that you have.

14"XGA(1024*768)

14"SXGA+(1400*1050)

Thanks,

I am guessing that you mean on an external monitor here.

If you are running bios version A12 or A13, there is a bug in it which means that the max resolution is what you are getting. If you downgrad to version A11 of the bios you will fine that your max resolution on an external monitor will now go a lot higher (if your monitor will take it).

Dell seem to be unprepared to admit to this problem but if you do the downgrade, you will see for yourself.

Hi,

I have a Latitude D600 laptop / Bios A11 and I try to connect my 21" Dell P1110 monitor. The resolution is OK and the driver gives me the option till 1800x1440 dpi.

My problem is, that the refresh rate is always  60Hz (for the laptop and for the monitor). There is no other choice than 60 Hz.

How can I set the monitor refresh rate to min. 85 Hz?

Thank you very much for any help.

Is there a way to change the refresh rate to more than 60Hz?

My D600 SXGA display seem loose when i set to 120 % font size on the Display/ Advance option.

Is there a way to inmprove the looseness situation? If i adjust to 100%, it way to small.

thanks all. `

Thanks in advance for the reply.
