Dell 5 Button USB Mouse Driver
Hello,
I am new to the Dell forum community. I recently got a dell 5 button USB Mouse for my computer but I have found that I cannot change what each button does by default without the driver that comes with the mouse. I can not find the driver anywhere on the dell web page.
Has anyone encountered this problem before, or can anyone e mail me the driver?
The Dell part number for this mouse is 310-8938
Dell latitude D620
Windows Vista/XP dual boot

You probably need the Dell Mouse Suite software to configure the mouse buttons as you see fit. Try and get the R164209.exe file from Dell. The older R140482.exe has a problem with the mouse wheel and likes to move two clicks when rolling the mouse wheel a single click, so be sure to get the newer R164209.exe. I found it at:
I have three Dell RP962 / PY777 optical 5-button USB mouse w/ Scroll Wheel (MOA8BO)" and love them. I use them on two Dells, one with Vista, another with Vista 64 and a HP machine running XP.
