Dell D600 screen
Hi can anybody help, i have a latitude d600 running xp pro, if the power goes on the battery and i power backup the screen doesnt come back on however if i connect an external monitor the i can log on and get my desktop, if i then restart the pc and disconnect the external monitor it is ok, any ideas please.

Have you tried Fn/F8, I just know that will toggle between internal, external and both.

the only thing I know of is power management settings to
"Turn screen off" in as little as one to three minutes,
but then any activity will over-ride this.
