Any success getting these files open? I have worked with Dell for over 3 hours on this same issue with no success. I used a tool called www. active-undelete .com and it was able to extract the files but everything is encrypted so the files are useless but it does confirm that the files are present and it was backed up correctly so it is not a data failure issue but a software issue with Data Safe. PM me if you make any progress.
