DELL i1464 - Keyboard functions
Hi,
I recently brought a new laptop from dell. My very first owned laptop.
But i notice that the keyboard function is not user-friendly. The F1 to F12 keys are now all function keys! To on the wi-fi, light and sound no longer need to hit the function (fn) key anymore.
Usually the traditional key board if you need to see help u hit the F1 key but now u have to hit Fn + F1. Its totally inconvenice as i frequently use the F5 key.
Does anyone knows if i can set it back to the traditional key setting?
This new key board is totally irritating!

Design is this way i think we cannot change it. -vvk

You can change it. You can change the default to Function keys. The default is Multimedia (no pressing the FN key). Open Dell Quickset (another name for it is Dell Mobility Center) to change it.
