Sounds like an intermittent hardware problem.  Could be something loose inside.
 
The best thing is to call Dell and start the process of trying to get it fixed.  They'll have you spend a couple of hours on the phone trying things until they figure out what to replace.

F12 at startup to run the Dell diagnostics program.Run the full scan.
