Dell Latitude D630 Diagnostics Error
Hi
Reinstalled Windows on the laptop and got "file header checksum does not match the computed checksum".Snooped a bit around, used my own smart head and concluded that it's a boot settings mismatch and I need to further reset the system. So, of course I did a CMOS reset.
I still have the same error, also first boot after CMOS reset suggests problems with RAM and asks diagnostics. Results: MATS Test failure Error Code 2000-0123 and Mem integrity test failure. Then only flashing lights and board sounds suggesting to contact support.
Support asks for service tag and I end up with Finnish support. Logical, since I'm in a neighbouring country, but as I cannot understand the instructions to fill the form, I'm locked out of support.
2 Questions: What to do next with the RAM problems? How to reach official support that is international (English speaking)?
