Dell LATITUDE E5500 horizontal stripe problem

Hi every one, my E5500 has horizontal stripe problem since i installed windows 7 32bit on it, i tried reinstalling the drivers but it doesn't work. I've tried everything i know, i've tried diagnos but it didin't say anything was wrong, please help.

I have 3GB RAM, and VT Support turned on in bios.

Tuned off VT in bios, and problem solved :emotion-2:

Does the fault show on an external monitor?

Did you install the latest Windows 7 video driver?

If the fault doesn't show, you have a screen problem.  If it does, it's a mainboard problem.

I haven't really try an external monitor, but i think it would show, so do you know an answer to this problem

But it didin't show up until I've installed from windows vista to windows 7, so you'er telling me it's a hardware problem?

I have exactly the same problem on my E5500. I'm running Windows 7 64bit.

I have actually solved this problem, firstly i have downloaded the newest drivers, then i uninstalled all of the old drivers, when it said to restart my computer i didin't do it, then i installed the newest drivers and only then i restarted the computer, and now the problem is fixed.Hope it helps everyone.

Hi.

This didn't solve my problem at all. I downloaded the newest driver from Intel. Which driver do you use ?
Now my laptop screen is worse than ever.
