Since you have mentioned that system is getting overheated, you can update the BIOS and Video drivers in your computer. Please use the link below to update the drivers.
Please update the above drivers in your laptop, restart the system when the each driver is installed. After updating the drivers if same issue persists, then we may have to get the laptop serviced.
