Dell N5010 notebook background color problem

Look at the picture and you'll see that the background shows a pattern that looks like a scratched texture, black background with red crayon or something.

That pattern appears while the system is booting and stays there even when I set my desktop background to black as a solid color.

What can I do to make that background pattern go away? TIA.

EDIT: When I posted I used the upload method but it seems it didn't work, so I inserted the image from a TinyPic URL.

Hi Paultx2,

I suggest you to check if the textures appear in the BIOS screen by tapping F2 key at the Dell logo.

Please attach a picture of the screen in your reply to this post, so that I can check and let you to know the options available.

Hello, DELL-Rajath N. As you can see, the texture does not appear in the BIOS screen.

Hi Paultx2,

Thank you for your reply and for providing an update on the status. I suggest you to update the video drivers and change the background image to check if the screen displays properly. You can download the latest drivers by punching in the system Service Tag and click on the "Drivers & Downloads" tab:

Please let me know your findings.

DELL-Rajath N, all the drivers are updated . It seems to me it's like a "theme thing" from Dell itself. Maybe something on the BIOS/OEM settings level?

Hi Paultx2,

Thank you for your reply and for providing an update on the status. I will check about the theme design internally. In the meanwhile, please change the background image and attach a picture of the screen in your reply.
