Dell Network Assistant Questions?

I have a Vostro 1000 and just hit 100 days of having it. I have not use it for a few days and I get a message that My Dell Network Assistant has Expired. I never knew it had a time limit on it. How would I know this if it pops up every time I power up my computer. I thought maybe after 1 year it might expire once I am more familar with this computer but so far I have all kinds of issues with it just getting use to using it I am not a computer person so I have trouble with the simple things. I am still trying to get the touchpad set up that works for me. I seem to close out multiple pages when I am just trying to close one. Looks like I might have to go to a external mouse with all the times I have issues with using the touchpad. Seems to also highlight everything in blue not sure of that setting either.
 
If anyone can shred any information on these since also my support has ended unless I pay for it additional support and I have never used it and thought that it would also be for 1 year. It is also impossible to get any tech help with parts and upgrades unless you call them which I was hoping for information on buying a 85WHr battery and lost out on a great deal because I did not know I needed to call until the coupson deal ran out so I did not buy the battery. Seems that the lack of information from Dell has me wondering being I am not a computer knowledgeable person.
 
I missed out on using their support. Still trying to figure out on everything works?
 
Any info on the Dell Network Assistant would be nice to know if I need to buy it being it always pops up?
