DELL Nightmare

I have been a loyal cust of DELL for some time.  All I want is my laptop repaired.  TECH Supp is a nightmare.  Hours and hours on the phone.

I have the extended warranty for what.  Money down the drain.  Never again DELL.  Thanks for nothing.

ur not supposed to talk to TECH support. if you know what your problem is, you tell them what you want done. if they ask you to run diagnostics, you tell them the results they need to hear to commision something.

example: i wanted my mobo replaced. i felt that it was causing headphone jack interference. i told them that i wanted my mobo replaced. when they asked me what the problem was, i told them i think the temperature sensors are shot because they either dont read or they read absolutely ridiculous numbers that i know are false. because of those numbers, the fans usually only are either off or blare at the fastest they'll go. yet if the computer were actually at that temperature, the processor would speedstep downwards and then emergency shutdown would happen.

they called and replaced the motherboard.

ur obviously doing it wrong.

That is AWESOME that a DELL rep like Chris would step in and create a usable

communication path to help resolve an issue that arose in the forums!

Congrats DELL for having such great people on the boards!

you could also try to actually explain out your problem on here isntead of griping about it with no preamble whatsoever. you'll be surprised at the amount of help you'll recieve when you actually say waht the problem is in the first place.
