Dell studio 1535 help
Hi all got a dell studio 1535 and when i boot up doesn't find the hard drive not even in bios so i did a diag test and comes up with this error code 2000-0141 can anyone help as its not the hard drive as checked on another machine and its fine, also checked the connector and its not loose but that's all i can check on that any ideas anyone .

already tried another hard drive a brand new one still no good in bios to . could it just be the connector or not.

If you have another hard drive, try it in this system - if it too is not seen, it's likely the SATA controller is toast and you'll need a replacement mainboard.

Does the drive spin up when mounted in the system?

If it has happened with two drives, I'd say your mainboard is toast.
