There is no delay, it just beeps rapidly for about 5 seconds.. It is rapid enough that it is hard to count the exact number of them. Best I can count is 14. Am i looking at a CPU failure?
I would suggest you to try some more steps to conclude the faulty component .
* Remove the battery and memory modules ,hard drive from the system .
*Click here for link to the manual which will you to remove the components from the system.
*Disconnect the charger from the system press and hold the power button for 15-20 mins, here we are trying to release the static charge by performing the power cycle test .Then connect the charger back to the system try to power it on .
*If the system resumes work then connect the battery back to the system to see if it makes a difference, followed by the hard drive then the memory module.
I hope this helps.Do reply to this post if there are any queries .

Good day !
Thank you for writing to Dell Community Forum .I am Jennifer and I work for the Dell Social Media team .
I would ask you to confirm the status of the power button ,if its off or orange or green.
*Below is the table with list of beep codes also note delay between each set of beeps is 3 seconds and delay between each beep will be 300 Ms .
I hope this helps. Please feel free to write to us in case of any further queries.
Have a good day!
Kindest Regards,
