Hi Effindi
Let me first appreciate the fact that you have tried the steps yourself to isolate the problem.
Error code: 2000-0146 (DST Log contains previous errors) refers to previous errors in the hard drive which might not really be a hardware failure. In order to confirm this, I recommend you to run a custom test on the Hard drive which takes longer time than the Pre-boot System Assessment which you have already performed on the computer but it will give the accurate result.
Also, I would suggest you to back up the data from the system if the system is booting up. I would suggest you to update the BIOS on the computer and then run the hardware diagnostics again. Please enter your service tag # on the link below, then download the BIOS required onto the system and install it.

If the error reoccurs again then please replace the system with a new hard drive.

Hi Ravi,
I found bad sectors in D-drive. So D-drive full formatted and not using that drive. checked disk result find any bad sectors now. also full system, HDD, RAM diagnosed with "diagnostics and utility" boot disk. didn't found any issue.
but only the laptop battery with error code 3600:0123 and 3600:0853 error. I think battery life expired.
But I don't have the sudden shutdown issue now after formatting bad sector partition. working properly.
Thanks for reply.
Regards,
Satheesh
Effindi.

Hi Satheesh,
It’s good that issue with the hard drive is fixed. I’d suggest that you follow the steps mentioned below and check if you are able to switch ON the system properly without beeps.

I have an old laptop 2005 inspiron 9300. Just last night it turns on then off within 10 second. I tried rebooting like u mentioned n not working. I did a diagnostic it came up with same error code : previous errors plus fan to high.
