Dell studio pp33l screen flashing
This is a video of what my dell does when i turn it on. I have checked the connections and reinserted the ram and replaced the motherboard battery to no avail. Please help. I cannot even hook it up to and external display, it doesnt recognize that it is plugged in.

Hi,
Thank you for reaching us.
Lets try running a Built in LCD test.
When the machine is OFF, Hold down the Fn key and press the power button once, Continue holding the Fn key for few more seconds till the machine is ON.
It will run through some tests and you will hear some beeps , Do not press anything.
After some short beeps, there must be some solid colors in continuous pattern . Let us know if you see the solid colors or if it is distorted even in the diagnostics.

This is part of the LCD test. I did not see any solid colors except eventually white with lines flashing across the top of the screen. I have chexk the connections to make sure they werent loose or dirty but they are not.

Hi,
Suspecting LCD screen failure. This is a test inbuilt into the LCD, Hence cable's shouldn't matter.
If there is an option to try a spare LCD available, Please test it and order the part.
