Dell update, what does it do?
I have now had my Dell XPS 13 now for about a week.
What I would like to know is what does Dell Update do. I ask this because when I got to the Dell website and to the download bit I have downloaded and installed newer drivers than what was on my computer. I thought the us of programs like "Dell update" was to keep your software up to date?
Any info would be great.

But is it supposed to check to see if there is any updates for the drivers and other Dell software that is on the laptop. If that is so then it is not doing a very good job at it?

I was wondering the same thing. I run the update tool to check for updates and it doesn't find any. I go out to the site and I find a handful of new dirvers. I am also curios what this app does?
