Dell XPS 13 issues resolved?

Seriously swapping my Dell XPS 17 for something more portable - the XPS 13.  A few questions I have are:

 - Is the trackpad REALLY that bad?

 - do models on sale from Dell now ship with the 1080p screen?  Such as this one: http://configure.euro.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?oc=sbnb1308&model_id=xps-13-l321x-mlk&c=uk&l=en&s=bsd&cs=ukbsdt1

Thanks

The trackpad on my new XPS 13 (2015) is a constant annoyance.  There is no software to adjust the sensitivity, and it is often false clicking or jumping away due to 'palm touches'. It is also hard to mouse and left click, it seems to want to interpret this is a multitouch gesture. This is after the update to the A01 BIOS.

Also, there are complaints of repetitive key strokes.  Mine seems to come and go, but it it not too bad. Dell needs to get this straightened out, but I have seen old threads of this problem on multiple Dell laptops.  We'll see if they get an otherwise wonderful laptop ready for prime time.  I have the 3200 x 1800 and it works well for most aps in Win 8.1.
