I have a 9300 as well. Motherboard replaced once because the connector at the AC power adapter failed. Now it is happening again. My warranty is expired, but I will see about warranty on the replacement part. I would suggest 2 things. First, make sure you have/keep all documentation on the issues. Second, you should do some research on lemon laws relevant to computers. There are perhaps some state laws and there are also federal lemon laws. Good luck.
I would argue that you still have rights under the Sale of Goods and Services act and/or fitness for purpose. Not sure if you are in the UK, but the US must have something similar. Make sure you've got all the documentation/evidence and go for it!
If it's still under warranty then I suggest you call them asap. You may have to hassle with the first branch of support a little, but as long as you tell them it's the third time you replace the mobo, I'm sure they'll help you out. Tell them you want a system exchange, don't settle for another replacement part. They have the case files, they will be able to verify the service history of your computer through your service tag. The proof's already there.
I'm having an extremely similar problem. I have an Inspiron 770 (XPS Gen 2? with completecare warranty) and within the last ten months, they've replaced my motherboard three times. It's just failed again for the second time in a week. During the past summer, the motherboard, graphics card, all the fans, keyboard and hinge was replaced. When I asked techinical support what the official rationale was behind system replacement, I was told that "Either the same major component, or a different major component related to the same problem must be replaced three times within one month." Example, computer doesn't turn on, they replace the motherboard, then the battery, then the charger, still doesn't work, they're supposed to replace the system.
If you ask me, that's ridiculous. Since my motherboard failures were conveniently spaced four months apart, "I don't qualify." I'm currently going the way of Lemon Law.

Dell sent me 3 motherboards back to back because the first 2 they sent out was DOA ... they didn't replace my system. (XT tablet)
A very long time ago my friend had a Latitude D600 laptop and Dell sent him 2 dud mobos too ... but he got a system exchange.
Hit and miss? Who knows. I doubt there is an official policy like that.

Replacement parts are warranted for 90 days or the duration of the original warranty, whichever is longer.
Replacement systems are on a case by case basis - you can try, but you likely will get a totally different system if they authorize a replacement.
