Diagnostics error code 2000-0412
Hi,
I have a Inspiron 15R (N5110) for less than 2 years. In the past few days, there's squeaky sounds coming out from the bottom of the keypad. I ran a diagnostic test and have the following result
**Hard Drive 0- DST Short Test**
Test Results: Fail
Error Code: 2000-0142
Validation 27271
Msg: Hard Drive 0 - S/N WD-WXC1A7242252, self test unsuccessful. Status = 7.
I understand that this means the harddisk is dying but is there any way to save it?
Thanks in advance for any advices.
