Disassemble Latitude C840 tutorial

I need to disassemble my Latitude C840. Does anyone know of a link for a photo tutorial or instructions on how to take this apart?

 

Two weeks ago my son sat on my laptop. That crashed the hard drive and the CD drive. Both have been replace and the system is running. However, the ALPS finger pad and pointer do not work. The sound card also does not work. I have downloaded the latest drivers and I am not seeing any errors in device manager.

I want to disassemble the laptop to see if a connector for the ALPS device(s) has been disconnected.
