Display appears interlaced

Question

I bought a D600 recently with the 14.1' XGA 1024x768 screen. I have noticed that when I blink my eyes, am chewing food or move my head quickly the picture on the screen doesn't look right. When I do any of these things part of the screen looks like an interlaced monitor with a slow refresh rate (I can clearly see horizontal 1 pixel high light and dark stripes). Oddly, this only seems to effect a vertical band of about 1 inch on the far left hand side of the screen. I have never seend this effect on any other TFT LCD display. Have I got a faulty screen, or am I just being over sensitive ? Message Edited by andynormancx on 02-20-2004 11:48 AM

I have exactly the same here and since I have seen this behaviour on many of my colleagues screen I guess is a common malfuctioning. What should I do? It is giving me head aches!!!!! Please somebody from Dell replies!
