display error
i have a d800
the display is fuzzy, and i recieved an error on first boot
if i try to change the display res - then i get a blue screen and it reboots
pls help

Welcome to the Dell Community Forum,
Is there a way that you could post the error message that you're receiving ? Also posting the Operating System that you have installed and any newly installed software or hardware If any, maybe helpful.

Hi mike,
the blue screen is too quick to capture
i am running xp
no new hardware or software has been installed

Hello roofusstuntbum,
Boot to safe mode by tapping F8 several times during start up, choose safe mode. Go to Add or Remove programs and remove your display driver.(note :which Nvidia video driver is installed) You'll have to download and install the latest driver from your support page under downloads.Hope that this helps.
