display not working....please help!!!
I have an Inspiron 2600 that my friend soldme, I replaced the hard drive I wanted to format the new hard drive, but now nothing appears on the display, the new hard drive sound like it's working, but nothing on the display, I even pluged an external monitor and still nothing, does any body know what could be happening???

Did you make sure to take off the Pin adapter from the old Hard drive and put it on the new one? Have a look at the bottom of the linked page to see what I mean:
