display/screen blank

Question

i have an inspiron bought in may 2006. Once in a while when i try to switch on my notebook the screen is blank. After a few hours it becomes ok. However for the past 3 days my screen is blank. The lights are on. I can eject the dvd tray n al. Bt my screen is blank. Please advice

Contact customer support. There are a few possibilities causing this but they would be my choice to sort it out.   cheers

Exchange it after contacting support. Inverter may be bad, backlight and other issues.
