HI TONY,

Have you looked in the MSCONFIG files and stopped the services attached to this program on startup and you may need a stronger remover like Revo Uninstaller to get at the registry of the software.

Sometimes programs don't want to really leave there nice warm homes, they might look like they left but they are hiding in a suitcase somewhere.

I am having the same problem on start up.  I get the message box DSD XXXX (the number seem to always be different) not responding.  Anyway to determine what the cause is?

DSD is Dell System Detect. It should be listed in Control Panel under Uninstall a Program. You may be able to re-enable the program if it has not been installed properly.

Thanks for the explanation.

I have the DSD box showing when I use [Alt-Tab] so that I can't switch easily between programmes. I have un-installed Dell System Detect using the Control panel and re-booted but it's still there.

How can I get rid of it completely?
