Whats is the socket type on an E1501 Internal Wireless card? Is this connector right under the keyboard? I'd like to upgrade to N.

Hi,
I believe you mean Inspiron 1501? Or you mean E1505? I do not think there is "E1501"
It is called, "internal PCI-e Mini-Card WLAN"
Yes, it is right under the keyboard. For instruction how to replace it, click link below,
